(BEIJING, July 8) -- As one of South Africa's best hopes at the Olympic Rowing Regatta this summer, Ramon Di Clemente and Shaun Keeling gained valuable momentum last weekend by finishing first at the Henley Royal Regatta in Great Britain in the Men's Pair. This is the fourth time Di Clemente has been crowned winner at Henley; his victory at the regatta continues the recent success he's had with teammate Keeling and is a promising sign of progress with the Beijing Games now just 31 days away.Wesley Piermarini and Elliot Hovey, who were recently selected to the US Olympic team, beat compatriots Peter and Thomas Graves in the Men's Double. Piermarini and Hovey previously had no experience in international racing.Caroline Ryan from Ireland claimed first in the Women's Single, while Ian Lawson from Great Britain won on the men's side.
