China and Romania fail to make final

(BEIJING, June 17) -- Men's Quad crews from Romania and China fell short of their bids to compete in the Olympic Games after finishing fifth and sixth in the repechage race on June 17 at the Final Olympic Qualification Regatta in Poznan, Poland. Slovakia, Great Britain, Argentina and Egypt finished in the top four spots and will compete in Wednesday's final.

Men's Quad, repechage, results:

Slovakia -- 5:49.46

Great Britain -- 5:52.33

Argentina -- 5:54.19

Egypt -- 5:56.71

Romania -- 5:58.99

China -- 6 :03.54
