Tomorrow world number one Serena Williams will go against Angelique Kerber at Australian Open. Williams is the heavy favourite, as she tries to repeat as champ and claim a 22nd career major title, and says she is playing at her best. Kerber is seeking a first Grand Slam crown and is not feeling any pressure.
"Yeah, for sure, I would say this is probably the best slam I've played in a year, and I've won a lot in a year. Again, I haven't won this one. But even if I don't win, I really can take away that I've been really consistent, and I want to continue that," Serena said.
"I can go out there and try to play like I'm playing, without pressure, without nothing. Yeah, I think when you ask a lot of people, I think most will say, Okay, Serena will win," Kerber said.
"But this is the challenge I can take. I go out there, I don't have nothing to lose. I don't have so much pressure like she has. This is what I mean that I have nothing to lose. I know I can lose the match. That's why I'm going out there to try to win the match."
