The Democratic People's Republic of Korea has celebrated the 62nd anniversary of the armistice that ended the Korean War.
The country's leader, Kim Jong Un, laid a wreath at a cemetery on Monday for Chinese volunteer soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the war.
Korean Central News Agency reported that Kim made a speech at the 4th National Conference of War Veterans on Saturday. He paid tribute to the Chinese People's Volunteer Army for its role in the war.
