22 Chinese companies will be offering IPOs on the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges this week. That's a new weekly record.
Twenty of the IPOs were approved this year while two got the OK in 2014. Ten of the IPOs will be offered on the Shanghai Stock Exchange while the remainder will be available on the Shengzhen exchange.
Analysts expect 2.16 trillion yuan worth of funds will be frozen for this week's IPO subscriptions. Friday is expected to be the peak day with 1.8 trillion yuan frozen in a single day.
