SANTIAGO, Jan. 29 (Xinhua) -- Juan Antonio Pizzi was named Chile coach on Friday after fellow Argentine Jorge Sampaoli resigned.
The Chilean soccer body ANFP announced they hired Pizzi until the 2018 World Cup.
Pizzi, who had played for Barcelona and Valencia, will take up the job next week.
