LONDON, July 6 (Xinhua) -- Nenad Zimonjic and Sam Stosur are the Wimbledon mixed doubles champions for 2014 after a 6-4, 6-2 win against Max Mirnyi and Hao-Ching Chan at the All England Club on Sunday.
It took less than an hour for the experienced No.15 seeds, from Serbia and Australia respectively, to triumph against Mirnyi of Belarus and Chan from Chinese Taipei.
The first blow came when they broke the Mirnyi serve in the ninth game of the first set.
A double break of serve in the second set, both of them occurring as Chan served, ensured Zimonjic/Stosur weren't troubled on their path to victory.
It's the second Wimbledon mixed doubles title for Stosur, the Australian having also combined with Bob Bryan to triumph in 2008.
