BEIJING, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) -- A total of 96 COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery on the Chinese mainland Sunday, the National Health Commission said in a daily report Monday.
There were 1,614 confirmed cases still being treated, including 68 in severe conditions, said the report.
As of Sunday, the Chinese mainland had reported a total of 89,564 confirmed COVID-19 cases, among whom 83,314 had been discharged from hospitals after recovery and 4,636 died of the disease.
