BEIJING, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- The ninth meeting of the Standing Committee of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) held a plenary meeting Wednesday afternoon in Beijing.
Wang Yang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the National Committee of the CPPCC, attended the plenary meeting.
A total of 16 members of the CPPCC National Committee and its Standing Committee addressed the meeting, fully agreeing upon and resolutely supporting the decision adopted by the fourth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee.
They called for studying and implementing the plenary session's spirit thoroughly.
They also urged political advisors at all levels to participate in, practice and promote the modernization of China's system and capacity for governance.
