LOS ANGELES, Feb. 4 (Xinhua) -- Kodak announced Wednesday that it has reached agreements with six major Hollywood studios on supplying film for their movie and television productions.
"Film has long been and will remain a vital part of our culture," Kodak CEO Jeff Clarke was quoted as saying by local media.
The studios that have agreed to use Kodak film are 20th Century Fox, Walt Disney Co., Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc., NBC Universal Inc., Paramount Pictures Corp. and Sony Pictures.
"With the support of the studios, we will continue to provide motion picture film, with its unparalleled richness and unique textures, to enable filmmakers to tell their stories and demonstrate their art," added Clarke.
The company said a number of recent films were produced on film, including "Boyhood," "The Grand Budapest Hotel," "The Imitation Game," "Interstellar," "Foxcatcher," "Inherent Vice" and "The Judge."
