BEIJING, April 7 (Xinhuanet) -- U.S. Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock Wednesday denied media report that there is a sex tape with her shamed husband Jesse James.

Bullock spoke out in response to an online report that James possesses a graphic sex tape, which he could possibly use as leverage in a divorce case.

She strongly denied in a statement to People.com that such a tape exists. "There is no sex tape...There never has been one and there never will be one."

The statement marks Bullock's first public remarks since reports of James' alleged philandering surfaced.

Just right after the actress won an Oscar in March for her role in "The Blind Side," at least four women came forward to speak about alleged affairs they had with James, who has had nearly five-year marriage with the actress.

James released an apology and even entered rehab for "personal reasons" early last week.

His attorney, Joe Yanny, said in a statement Monday that James wanted to save the marriage, "When all is said and done, he wants the same people who were living in his house before all this happened to still be living there. And he wants to save his marriage with the woman he loves more than anything in his life."
