“the + 比较级”表示“越……就会……”。
句子的原意是越有智慧有经验的人，越不会贸然行事，即“智慧越多，勇气越少”。
这里的中文翻译实际上表示的是另一半意思：
越没有智慧越缺乏经验的人越无所顾忌，敢于做任何事。
