um...well, Ok,  I guess I have to introduce myself in English so that I could be accepted.

So, here we go. As some of you have known my name is Silky. It's not an English name, actually, but it has its meaning. "s", means "smile"; "i", means "independent"; "l" means "lively"; "k", means "kind"; and "y", means "youth". I named myself Silky because I want to be a girl with those five characters, and of course, it sounds good too.

I'm 21 years old, and I'm going to be a junior in the coming September. I'm a Food Science and Engineering major now, but i've decided to get a master's degree in Nutritional Science, and hopefully, I can purchase my M.S. in the U.S.,  New York, in particular. Yes, that's right. I want to go to New York to continue my study in two years. That is my dream.

And I'm working on that dream. I'm preparing for the Toefl test, which is in November, and I have a GRE test waiting for me in 2009. I just hope everything will turn out fine, and I will definitly put my heart and soul on it. And I am quite confident.

English has been one of my hobbies since I was a little girl, and I enjoy learning it all the way along. And what they say, "interest is the best teacher." You got it!

In the meantime, I am crazy about English songs and movies. And I've seen a lot of foreign movies so far, songs as well. And here in hengxing, this is a platform for me to show what I've got, and to share all of them with you guys. I find it really excited to post out my favourite songs. And, yes, I wanna become an hxen, and all I need is for Onion to give me the chance to become one~~~. And I am sure, that you won't regret it.
