Underground mining(地下开采)A producing underground mine requires a carefully planned system of shafts, drifts and raises. The figure (in my book---editor) shows how such a system may be laid out.
This development work can be divided into two parts according to its purpose. The first, general development, is related to the shape of the ore body, its dip, and the main layout of the mine. The other part refers to the actual mining method, where a variety of patterns can be followed. We shall return to this later on.
The various passageways in the rock can be of four types:
Shafts---竖井
Drifts----平巷
Raise---天井
Inclines---斜坡道
