I Am A Big Motor Mouth

I Am A Big Motor Mouth
作者: 蔚蓝   发表日期: 2008-07-14 13:24   复制链接
It is no escaping fact that we are surrounded by various stresses (whether it is from earning bread or from daily trifles) and it is a must for us to find ways to let out furies. Once, I appealed to tears which really functioned very well for the comedy when I was depressed, then I found it was somewhat ridiculous in other’s eyes but I sincerely felt what weighed on my mind cleared away. It is really no use crying sometimes, so I turned a big motor mouth without any consciousness.
Timid expressions, timid hands while dialing telephone numbers, timid words (of course timid experiences) and timid steps…… these are vivid pictures of my timid beginning in this company, in the new circumstance. It is said that what people in their twenties care most is how to go with their further career planning, which tells the truth. Before I have enough time to think over this, the current emergency is to absorb as much as possible, to do as much as possible and to adapt to my new position as soon as possible to me. Then before I can realize what has happened, I have become an “experienced constructor” who is well expert in using the printer and photocopiers, and even able to teach the newly-arrived clerks how to use them. Somewhat ironically! Nothing seemed to have stirred my heart in the past one year until I felt how life slips through my fingers recently.
As the saying goes, “Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery and today is a gift. That’s why we call it the “present””. So I view each figure and each happening I encounter or am going to encounter as presents, as spice of life. To add to the spice, I myself have turned a big motor mouth.
“An innocent and hardworking girl”, that’s the evaluation from my senior high school teacher for me. In fact, I was full of passion and enthusiasm inside, which I expressed in my compositions, in my few lectures to all the students oh the platform, which I carried on with during my bachelor’s days in the university: I was a big motor mouth in the dormitory, chatting with my roommates while jumping from topic to topic and making them rolling on the ground; I was a big motor mouth to make speeches on the topics put forward by our beloved English teacher to “show off”; I was a big motor mouth to run for election for Students’ Union members; I was a big motor mouth to introduce my learning experiences to the curious freshmen; I was a big motor mouth to compete for volunteers in the Olympic Games in World-wide Cities activities held by Haier Company during the Labor’s Day in 2007; I was a big motor mouth during the interview (but not so much)……And now, I am a big motor mouth in Wisdom’s daily trifles, to coordinate, to explain, to argue, to balance……
Essentially, I am a girl who can’t go without sounds. Do not forget to regain composure, my girl!

To Mature For Fears

A few years ago, the famous moderator Yang Lan quit her job in CCTV with great determination despite of her having reached the “glass ceiling” of her career, and went abroad for further education, which made many people much confused.
Recently, Yang appeared in the official inauguration ceremony of the News and Media College of Xiamen University and told the reason of her separation.
It was what happened before the annual CCTV Spring Festival Evening Party one year. There were six moderators, after several rehearsals, the chief director decided not to arrange one female moderator who was much famous at that time to appear on the stage. Not having get any announcement for this in advance, that moderator came to the making-up room with her grand toilette cheerfully to wait for continuing with the rehearsals. However, the dresser told her that her name hadn’t appeared on the list. Having understood what had happened, that moderator left, extremely depressed.
“I was sitting nearby at that moment, and I could almost foresee what my future would be.” Yang said. “I said to myself at that time: How much of your current success can be attributed to your diligence but for the platform that opportunity and atmosphere have set for you?”
So Yang took quitting for her choice. In her words, she left for fears, for feeling of without control of her own fate. Extremely famous or glorious as you are, you might be worth nothing just for a piece of word of someone other’s. It was from that time that she felt she should ground herself in her career and not be addicted to flowers and applauses any more. So she quit her job for to search for maturity, to further her education. Then she innovated her own career planning and set up platform for herself, thus being well control of her own fate.

Performance Affected By Sexuality?

Last Saturday, one of my former roommates in my undergraduate course who is now furthering with her graduate education in NO.2 Aviation an Space Institute of China in Tianjin. Together with her was another of my roommates who was then on an engineering service business. There was no doubt that we reminiscing on our wonderful and cherish days in the schoolyard. On one side of the line, I told Li to take good care of herself while on service business and Shi to spare no efforts to study hard; on the other end of the line, they told me to work hard and keep fit. Things have gone different as time went by, days when we took photos in the blooming spring, read books together in the classrooms or the library, drank, played and sang songs together on the leisure weekends are no longer back again.
The majority or all of my workmates are male, and deeply have I recognized that girls and boys do differ in many aspects. For girls, when you jog with them, you can appeal to them what weighs on your mind (most part sentimental): your family, your course, your relationship with others and so forth; you tell them you are fond of 《Gone With the Wind》, 《The Pretty Lady》,《The Waterloo Bridge》, of the charming appearance or the excellent performance of the leading actress (Vivien Leigh or Julia Roberts), you’ll find you can always have ideas in common. For boys, when you walk with them, you have no choice but to become a good listener to their new “innovation” for software or hardware learning or designing. When you tell them “piao (in Chinese)”is yet assessed as the most pure and classical translation from English (“Gone with the Wind” in English), they don’t seem even get any knowledge of that. In fact, they are not concerned about that at all.
Above all, girls are adapted to be “sentimental” while boys are adapted to be “material”. What you get from the former is sparks of feelings and the latter sparks of creativity or wisdom.
During my undergraduate course, numerical times have our conductors said that it is not considered proper for girls to take engineering majors (take automation engineering for example). It is no escaping fact that girls always endeavor to get high scores but in most conditions, they seem to react much slowly than boys during practices in the laboratory.
In the field of arts, take movie making for example, female and male directors open up different sights from different aspects and with different characteristics to us. Female directors most express the theme, the rhythm and the psychological activities more smoothly while male directors by way of violence or tragedies. In the movie of<<Yu Guanyin>>, Ann Hui aimed at showing the kind-heart and the complex psychological activities of the leading actress, were the movie directed by John Woo, he would take light of what was stressed by Hui and emphasize on the scene of fierce gunfight. They are both typical representatives with their features in their fields.
Sexuality has to some extent determined the thinking mode. Natured or nurtured, each has its advantages. As is known to all, that’s why our life has become so colorful. So feature your typical characteristics and then be talented.

The Origin of the Red Cross

Today, I came across a word-“Nightingale”, the name by which a kind of bird that sings in the night (“yeying” in Chinese). Then the name of the founder of the Red Cross flashed to my mind-Florence Nightingale.
The initial impression can date up to my primary school days. It was in an article from the teaching book that I knew her name. It was during the World War Ⅱor so, numerical soldiers were wounded .Nightingale, who was a nurse at that time, was sent to take care of the wounded soldiers. What impressed me most was the“nickname” that the soldiers called her-“Miss Lantern”: when the soldier are all asleep in the night, Nightingale took a lantern in her hand and checked carefully to make sure that every soldier was fine. Soldiers who were fond of her would kiss her shadow on the floor. So moving when especially in the period of World WarⅡ.
After the war ended, Nightingale founded the Red Cross. Its institutions and functions have been perfected with days and its effect force and reputation has been boosted all around the world-not only does it mean rescuing, charity and fraternity are among its broadened meanings. Today, when we are forced up to tragedies or sorrows, the sign of Red Cross can always bring us peace of mind.
“Blessed China, United Countrymen”, there is no doubt that this has been the most frequently appeared word in our life ever since the broke-up of the 5.12 earthquake in Wenchuan, Sichuan Province. It was an occasion for us to appreciate fraternity. We have gathered up all we can to go to the frontline to save our people out of bitterness. The Red Cross has played its leading and decisive role.
Love is the eternal topic of human beings. In art pieces, love stories always go hand in hand with wars or disasters. 《The Pearl Harbor》, which origins from the Japanese air-force’s hidden attack on the Pearl Harbor, which is regarded as the beginning of the World War Ⅱ, tells the bitterness and the true love people experience during the war. The ending is on the whole satisfying-the leading actress and her lover lives happily ever after the war ended. Another world-wide famous movie, Titanic, which almost won all the Oscar Golden Prize ranging from direction to music in 1998.Inverted measure was taken by the director and we hold the whole story with Lucy’s reminiscing on the past. The ice mountain shocked Titanic and also shocked the wonderful dream of the two lovers. As its theme music goes“love can touch us one time but can last for a lifetime”. The true love was really touching, still unforgettable was those violin players, who were real gentlemen. They gave life-making priorities to women and children, played the violin with peaceful expressions of their faces until Titanic sank to the sea. As a matter of fact, only at hash moments can we appreciate what “devotion” means, heroes in need are heroes in deed.
With the Beijing Olympic Games coming nearer and nearer, our propaganda “one world, one dream” has interpreted itself in many different fashions: cooperation of multi-culture opening up Beijing to the whole world in a newly way, explaining the culture of Olympic from the sight of an Asian country with a long history and brilliant cultures. Many disasters have we suffered from, still we are confident to smooth over.
Blessed China, United Countrymen! We are striving for triumph.
