2. used to do
过去常常；过去曾
eg. People used to come and visit him every day.
人们过去每天都来拜访他。
eg. He used to be one of the professors at the School of Education.
他曾是教育学院的一名教授。
eg. I feel more compassion and less anger than I used to.
我觉得自己比过去多了些同情，少了些怒气。
