(BEIJING, July 21) -- Marcio Araujo and Fabio Luiz Magalhaes of Brazil won the gold medal at the beach volleyball open in Marseille by beating top-seeded Wu Penggen and Xu Linyin of China 21-16, 21-16. Their victory also shattered Wu and Xu's goal of winning China's first gold medal in men's beach volleyball.The Brazilian pair's 11th title comes after they secured their Olympic berth in the semifinal by defeating another Brazilian pair Pedro Salgado and Harley Marques.In the bronze medal match, Germans Kay Matysik and Stefan Uhmann beat Brazilian pair Salgado and Marques.
