(BEIJING, July 15) -- Naim Suleymanoglu has won an impressive three Olympic golds, seven world championships, six European championships, and has set 46 world records.Suleymanoglu won his first Olympic gold in 1988 at the Seoul Olympic Games. After winning the world championship in 1989 the athlete retired at the age of 22, only to come out of retirement to compete in the 1992 Barcelona Games where he took his second gold. His third Olympic gold came in Atlanta in 1996. While Suleymanoglu attended the Sydney 2000 Olympics he did not place.At only 1.47 meters tall, Naim Suleymanoglu is known affectionately as the "Pocket Hercules".
