(BEIJING, July 7) -- The Australian Olympic Committee announced its triathlon squad for Beijing 2008 on Monday. The five-person team includes male triathlete Brad Kahlefeldt, who is the current Commonwealth triathlon champion, and female World Cup champion Emma Snowsill.Triathlon was introduced as an official Olympic event at Sydney 2000. Australia has won two silver medals: Michellie Jones won the first at Sydney 2000 and Loretta Harrop won another at Athens 2004.Australia's triathlon squad:Men:Brad Kahlefeldt, Courtney Atkinson.Women:Emma Snowsill, Emma Moffatt, Erin Densham.
