(BEIJING, July 5) -- The Australian Olympic Committee has recently announced that Andrew Hoy, previously Australia's top equestrian contender, will not be attending the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.Hoy has participated in 6 Olympic Games, and took gold in 1992, 1996 and 2000. Nevertheless, his performance of late has not been very good; as such, his name did not make it onto the Australian delegation this time around.
