(BEIJING, July 4) -- Japan will be facing its old foe Egypt in the fourth weekend of preliminary matches of the FIVB World League 2008. This Intercontinental Round in Komaki, Japan, will be the third meet between the two sides in this tournament.

Japan suffered two consecutive losses in their fights against Egypt during the second weekend. However, with the home court advantage, the Japanese are expecting to score two victories this time.

Last weekend, Japan defeated Poland, silver medalist at World League 2006, in five sets. Young players Kunihiro Shimizu and Yu Koshikawa contributed a lot to their victory with powerful spikes and sharp serves.
