Ginobili of Argentina (Photo credit: Xinhua)Photo Gallery>>(BEIJING, July 2) -- The Argentine Olympic Committee on June 30 announced that basketball star Emanuel Ginobili (also known as Manu Ginobili) will represent Argentina as the national flag bearer at the Beijing Olympic Games' opening ceremony.According to a spokesperson for the Argentine Olympic Committee, 15 representatives participated in the vote which gave Ginobili the honor. They had to select among the athletes in the 20 Olympic Games events in which Argentina has qualified.Ginobili, who plays in the NBA for the San Antonio Spurs, scored 8 votes.
