(BEIJING, June 30) -- The British Olympic Association has announced its selection of female artistic gymnasts for Team GB at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.The athletes that will be competing in the team competition are Becky Downie, Laura Jones, Marissa King, Beth Tweddle, Hannah Whelan and Rebecca Wing. Among these six, only 23-year-old Beth Tweddle has ever competed in an Olympic Games (Athens). The other five were born either in 1991 or 1992.The Artistic Gymnastics competitions of the Beijing Olympic Games are scheduled for August 9 to 19.
