LAGOS, June 30 (Xinhua) -- Nigeria's Flying Eagles have been warned to work hard to ensure a good account of themselves in Dakar after beating Senegal 2-0 in the first leg of the African Youth Championship qualifier held in Nigeria's Ogun state on Saturday.

Kashimawo Laloko, former technical director for the Nigeria Football Association said the 2-0 scoreline was a fair result.

Laloko said the players tried in winning the first leg African Youth Championship qualifier, "but they need to work hard for the second leg in Senegal," he said.

Chris Anigala, former Flying Eagles' player, also described the two goal scoreline was a good result for the country. "It is not a bad result when you look at the scoreline. Nevertheless, we have to be careful in the return leg," said Anigala.

According to him, the Flying Eagles must take their game to a higher level in the second leg on July 11.
