(BEIJING, June 27) -- Marcello Lippi the veteran coach who retired after leading the Italians to win the 2006 World Cup championship, has been appointed for a second time as the Italian football coach.His predecessor, Roberto Donadoni was fired due to his failure to help Italy get into semifinals at the UEFA Euro 2008 tournament.Just days ago, Donadoni said he had no intention to quit.The former AC Milan footballer led Italian national side to 13 victories, five draws and five defeats.
