(BEIJING, June 24) -- Romania beat Russia 45-40 to win the top spot in the Men's Saber Group event at the World Cup in Las Vegas on June 23.No 1-seeded France defeated Ukraine 45-43 in the quarterfinals but fell 43-45 in the semifinals to No. 4-seeded Russia. France finished third together with No. 2 Hungary, who beat the U.S. in the quarterfinals but were upset by No 11-seeded Romania in the semifinals.
