Lang Ping, the head coach of the team, will be using the World Grand Prix to evaluate players and choose the final roster for the 2008 Olympic Games.The 12-player roster will feature a mixture of young and veteran players. Well-known players such as middle blockers Danielle Scott-Arruda and Heather Bown, setter Lindsey Berg and Tayyiba Haneef-Park will be in the starting lineup.
