(BEIJING, June 15) -- Chinese shuttlers Du Jing and Yu Yang beat Cheng Wen-hsing and Chien Yu-chin of Chinese Taipei 21-19, 21-17 to claim the women's doubles title of the Aviva Singapore Open on June 15, 2008.Chinese shuttlers Du Jing and Yu Yang are seeded No. 1 in the tournament. Cheng Wen-hsing and Chien Yu-chin, No. 2 seed in the tournament, are from Chinese Taipei.Du Jing and Yu Yang caused much trouble to the Chinese Taipei pair with their aggressive net-play in the first set, winning 21-19 . In the second set, Du and Yu kept riding their momentum, winning 21-17.
