(BEIJING May 23) -- Meng Yan from Jilin finished first with a time of 51.40 seconds in the first heat of the Men's 400m Hurdles Round 1, Heat 3 which took place at 10:06 on Friday morning at the Good Luck Beijing China Athletics Open. Zhu Zhi from Guangdong came in second with a time of 51.41 seconds. Hussin Hafiz finished third with a time of 51.52 seconds.
