LAOGS, April 27 (Xinhua) -- New days after the draws of the 2008 Beijing Olympics football event in China, Super Falcons chief coach, Joseph Ladipo (Jossy Lad) has said he is not afraid of Brazil and Germany, the team's Group F opponents at the Games.

Local media reported Sunday that the newly contracted Falcons coach said his team is not scared of any country for the Olympic Games.

He hinted that the countries in the group are no longer new to Nigeria because they have played before in previous competitions. He is optimistic that it is a wake up call for Nigeria to intensify preparation for the Games.

He said, "I am not scared of any of the countries in the group, we have played Brazil before, and we have defeated North Korea before."

"At this moment, the program has been sent to the NFA, even before I sent my programs to them, they asked me to bring it on time so that we can start preparation for the games. I have given it to them, and preparation is now at the top level. It might look tough, but I believe we can qualify from the group."
