(BEIJING, April 19) -- Italy outscored Germany 45-35 to win gold in the men's team foil event at the "Good Luck Beijing" 2008 FIE World Championships on Friday evening at the Fencing Hall of the National Convention Center.It was a dominant performance from third ranked Italy. Taking the first bout 5-1, the Italians held the lead for the rest of the match, eventually beating the first ranked Germans by ten points.Poland beat Russia 44-43 to win bronze.
