(BEIJING, April 5) -- Florida, it seems, is a good place to end a streak. One round after Andy Roddick ended a streak of 11 straight losses against Roger Federer in the quarterfinals of the Sony Ericsson Open, Nikolay Davydenko ended his 0-5 losing streak against Roddick, winning 7-6 (5), 6-2 in the semifinals. After taking a close first with a crosscourt winner in the tie-break, the Russian was dominant in the second set, breaking Roddick three straight times and claiming the match on his first match point.Davydenko has had a strong start this season, holding a 17-6 record and reaching two semifinals prior to this tournament. He'll be hoping Miami's streak-ending trend continues when he meets world No. 2 Rafael Nadal in the finals on Sunday. Davydenko has an 0-2 record against the spirited Spaniard.
