LISBON, March 13 (Xinhua) -- Portuguese defender Jorge Andrade was likely to miss the European Championship finals due to a knee injury, according to Lusa News Agency on Thursday.The 29-year-old defender had surgery on his left knee on Thursday and it's hard for him to come back to court before the Euro 2008, co-hosted by Switzerland and Austria from June 7-29.The operation was performed by a Portuguese medical team headed by Antonio Martins and attended by the Serie A club's doctor.The center-back joined Juventus from Deportivo Coruna this season.Andrade also missed the 2006 World Cup in Germany after knee surgery.
