The first leg of the Mountain Bike World Cup Series "Manavgat Mountain Bike Marathon" will take place in southern Tureky in two weeks, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported on Wednesday.
A total of 194 cyclers from 18 countries signed up so far to compete in the marathon in Manavgat town of Antalya province on March 15 and 16, accoridng to the report.
It added that many cyclers including last year's world champion Pia Sundstedt, European champion Hannes Genz and Turkey champion Bilal Akgun have already started practising for the Marathon. (Xinhua)
