loan的用法与语法
1. 用作名词，表示“借”，若指借的动作，不可数；若表示借来的东西，则可数。如：
May I have the loan of your bike? 我可以借你的自行车吗?
I gave him the loan of my pen. 我把我的钢笔借给了他。
The book is a loan, not a gift. 这书借给你的，不是送给你的。
表示“借钱”或“贷款”，是可数名词。如：
He came to me for a loan of money. 他到我这儿来借钱。
用于on loan，意为“借（来）”。如：
He has my car on loan. 他借了我的汽车。
I have the book on loan from the library. 我从图书馆借了这本书。
2. 用作动词，与 lend 同义，但更正式。两者用法十分相似，均可后接双宾语。如：
He loaned [lent] me 50 yuan. 他借给我50元。
Will you loan [lend] me your pen? 请你把钢笔借给我好吗?
若双宾语易位，用介词to引出间接宾语。如：
He loaned [lent] his dictionary to his friend. 他把他的词典借给了他的朋友。
在美国英语中，loan 表示“借”或“借给”（=lend）；在英国英语中，loan 主要指正式地长期出借。如：
He loaned his collection of pictures to the National Gallery. 他将自己的藏画长期借给国家美术馆。
