一、be worth后接的动名词要用主动表被动
当be worth后接动词时，习惯上要用动名词（不用不定式），并且当动名词与句子主语为被动关系时，动名词只能用主动形式表示被动意义。如：
The book is well worth reading. 这本书很值得一读。
The car isn’t worth repairing. 这辆汽车不值得修了。
None of it is worth keeping. 这东西一点儿也不值得保存。
二、be worthy后接的不定式要用主动表被动
与worth的用法不一样，worthy后接动词时不能用动名词，而要用不定式，且该不定式的语态取决于语境的需要，即意义上为主动就用主动形式，意义上为被动就用被动形式。如：
He is worthy to receive such honour. 他应该得到这样的荣誉。
He is worthy to fill the post. 这个职位他当之无愧。
This book is worthy to be read. 这本书值得一读。
They are not worthy to be chosen. 他们不配当选。
The book is worthy to be studied carefully. 这本书值得仔细研究。
注：be worthy后虽然不能直接跟动名词，但可接of doing sth，其中的动名词也不能用主动形式表示被动意义，而是用被动式表示被动含义，如以上各句也可换成：
He is worthy of receiving such honour. 他应该得到这样的荣誉。
He is worthy of filling the post. 这个职位他当之无愧。
This book is worthy of being read. 这本书值得一读。
They are not worthy of being chosen. 他们不配当选。
The book is worthy of being studied carefully. 这本书值得仔细研究。
