1.big-ticket
意思：（美式英语）costing a lot of money 高价的
如：Cosmetics commodities is usually descrided as big-ticket.
化妆品一般价钱都很高。
2.coupon
意思： small piece of printed paper that you can exchange for something or that gives you the right to buy something at a cheaper price than normal 配给券；（购物）票证；（购物）优惠券
如：I have a coupon for ten pence off a packet of soap.
我有一张优惠券，买一盒肥皂可以便宜十便士。
This coupon can be redeemed at any of our branches.
这种息票可在我们的任何分行兑现。
3.tip-jacking
意思：adding in a tip or increasing the one you gave them 夹入小费或增加小费
4.from scratch
意思：without any previous preparation or knowledge 从头开始；从零开始
如：There were so many spelling mistakes, I had to write the letter out again from scratch.
这封信的拼写错误太多，我得重写一遍。
