There are some basic requirements for individual investors to get in Shenzhen-HK stock market.
First, personal assets, including both securities and capital accounts, must reach 500,000 RMB. The investor must pass an exam and an evaluation set by the securities companies before he or she can set up an account.
These rules also apply to those who now hold an account for the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect. A separate account is needed.
