China’s weather authority warns that more rainfall is expected in most parts of China starting Tuesday until Thursday.
Areas in northwest, southeast and northern China should brace for strong rainfall, hailstorms and thunderstorms. A yellow alert for storms was issued Monday.
China uses four-tier color-coded weather warning system, with yellow being the second lowest. Authorities also warned of a high possibility of water-logging in some parts of central China’s Henan province, and east China’s Shandong province.
