Chinese companies are attending a Civil Nuclear Energy Showcase in London. The three-day exhibition has attracted more than 300 elites in the field from 17 countries, including China, Japan, France and Germany.
The exhibition is organized by UK Trade & Investment. The organization’s energy chief says the UK seeks more nuclear cooperation with China in the future.
This comes after an investment deal was signed last October, in which China will invest about U.S.$10 billion in the UK’s Hinkley Point nuclear power plant project in the next decade.
“The Hinkley Point C project is important for the UK, because it was the first UK power station to look to the other projects in the UK in future,” the UK Trade and Investment's energy chief said.
