China's central government will receive all revenue from stamp duty on stock trading from 2016. That's according to a notice from the State Council.
Before the new ruling, the central government received 97 percent, while local governments receive the remaining 3 percent.
China's stock stamp duty revenue reached a record of 250 billion yuan in 2015, almost quadrupling the 66.7 billion yuan in 2014.
Analysts say individual investors shouldn't read too much into the new ruling, as it has little impact on stock market trading.
