The biggest professional air show in the Middle East, the Dubai Air Show, has taken off in United Arab Emirates.
Video shows seven fighters in formation, leaving trails of red, green, black and white, the colors of the UAE national flag. Five aircraft drew a date palm. And a perfect heart was formed by two fighter jets. Over 1,100 exhibitors from more than 60 countries are taking part in the biennial fair. They include major aircraft makers Airbus and Boeing, which are competing for a larger chunk of orders from the ever-growing air travel sector in the Gulf region. The five-day show is expected to draw around 65,000 visitors. It includes a flying display by fighter jets such as France's Rafale, the Eurofighter Typhoon, and the US F-16 and F-22.
