China's fiscal revenue and expenditure all increased in September. Data from the Finance Ministry showed Monday that fiscal revenue rose 9.4 per cent in September from a year earlier, while fiscal expenditure jumped 26.9 percent.
For the first nine months, fiscal revenue rose 7.6 percent year on year, and fiscal expenditure was up 16.4 percent. The rise in spending comes as policymakers continue efforts to invigorate an economy that is facing its slowest rate of expansion in a quarter of a century.
