The strong earthquake that shook Nepal on Saturday also heavily hit a Chinese water conservancy project company in the region, over 800 workers including 236 Chinese workers were stranded there, and were safely transferred to the settlement camp the next day.
According to one of the survivors, they were working on the construction site when the earthquake struck, tried to escape but got trapped after the landslides blocked their way out. A spokesman from the company said that they are trying everything they can to help to workers back to China safely.
