China is aiming to have around 7 percent GDP growth this year, after experiencing its slowest growth of 7.4 percent in two decades, last year.
We take a look back at China's GDP growth in the past ten years. The GDP growth saw its peak of 14.2 percent in 2007, then back down to 9.6 percent in 2008 due to the global financial crisis. After a slight rebound in 2010, GDP gradually slumped in the past few years to the 2014 level.
