Asking someone to wait
A: Would you please take a seat over there, madam? I’ll let Mr. Emory know that you’re here.
B: Thanks. I can wait here.
A: Well, it may take some time. Mr. Emory’s at a meeting at the moment. It would probably be more comfortable over there.
B: I see. All right, then. Thanks.请稍等
A：您能在那里稍坐一下吗，夫人？我这就告诉埃莫里先生您已经到了。
B：谢谢。我可以在这里等等。
