WASHINGTON, March 25 (Xinhua) -- A "fixes" package to the sweeping healthcare reform legislation that has already been signed into law by U.S. President Barack Obama will be sent back to the House of Representatives for another vote.

That's after Senate Republicans successfully identified two minor procedural violations early Thursday.

U.S. Senate Democrats celebrate at a press conference on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C., capital of the United States, March 25, 2010. U.S. Senate on Thursday passed a revised "fixes" package to the healthcare law that President Barack Obama just signed, sending the measure to the House for another vote.

The Senate held 10 hours of nonstop voting starting at 5 p.m. Wednesday. All 29 amendments proposed by Republicans were easily rejected, while two Republican objections to the "fixes" bill, which contains changes demanded by House Democrats to the Senate bill, were sustained by Senate Parliamentarian Alan Frumin.

The action will force the Senate to change the "fixes" bill and send it back to the House, which passed the package in a 220-211 vote on Sunday night, for another vote.
