"The president was saddened by the extensive damage that was caused by Friday's bomb attacks," the national Antara news agency quoted Spokesman Andi Malarangeng as saying.
Malarangeng said that at the blast site, the president met security officers at the hotel and asked them about the results of the preliminary investigation into the case.
"Now we will focus on the perpetrators. The first step is that the victims have been evacuated and treated at the hospitals, and the second step is focusing our attention on the perpetrators and bring them to justice," said Susiolo, quoted by Malarangeng.
Susilo paid a 15-minute visit to the two blast sites on Saturday afternoon.
Malarangeng also said that the government in principle fully guaranteed the security of all people staying in Indonesian jurisdiction. He also said that Indonesia was basically open to the offer from several countries to help the country investigate the case.
