西蒙·考威尔未获邀参加皇家婚礼

Simon Cowell has joked that he wasn't invited to the royal wedding because he once mocked the Queen's hat.

The 51-year-old music mogul did not make the guest list for Prince William and Kate Middleton's forthcoming nuptials, and admitted that his cutting tongue probably cost him an invitation.

Appearing on The Tonight Show, he told Jay Leno, 'I haven't been invited to the Royal Wedding. I may have said something to the Queen about her hat when I met her...'

He also admitted that he still hasn't made his mind up about which famous faces will sit on the judges' panel when the X-Factor launches in the US.

He said, 'I can't make up my mind. I keep meeting all these people every day and I like them and at the moment I could end up with 23 judges on this panel - one contestant, 23 judges.'
