BEIJING, Jan. 28 (Xinhuanet) -- "Two and a Half Men" star Charlie Sheen was taken to a hospital in Los Angeles early Thursday morning after complaining of severe abdominal pains, media reported Friday.
The website TMZ reported that the actor was taken from his house on a stretcher. He was later visited in hospital by his parents, Martin Sheen and Janet Templeton, and by his ex-wife Denise Richards.

According to TMZ, Sheen had held a party at his home the night before he was taken to hospital. He had a "briefcase full of cocaine" delivered to his home and was allegedly using the drug during a 36-hour bender prior to the hospitalization.
The Emmy-nominated star has been dogged by personal problems and apparent health issues. This is his third hospitalization in many months.
